Embracing Tropical Design - open where it matters,

but private where it needs to be

Sits on more than 400 sqm lot with an expected GFA of 300 sqm

True to form and function

All the rooms have openings on at least two of its wall for proper cross ventilation

Longer side of the home faces East catching the morning sun and Amihan. The South - South West side is located at the back of the property where a 3 storey neighbor protects the house from both heat and Habagat. The West side has minimal windows maintaining privacy and preventing afternoon heat gain

Design direction was clean, uncluttered with subdued unique focal points for each room. General inspiration was Japandi.

Living Room has light color palette, very minimal storage, keeping the area zen

Kitchen was expanded into the utility room more than doubling storage and counter space with conscious effort on maintaining clean lines

One bedroom converted to a home office with enough closed storage to keep the room neat but with random open shelves to induce character

Bedroom had to have a walk in closet within a 9sqm space

Owner requested the floors and ceilings to remain untouched
